Vaughan Penn

Vaughan is an amazing songwriter and performer I've had the privilege of knowing for several years now. You would probably hear one of her songs playing and think you've heard it before! Quite possibly since she's had her songs featured on several TV shows. I had the pleasure of working with Vaughan, under very unfortunate circumstances, back on September 11, 2001. She and her partner had arrived the night before and stayed in my guest room so we could get an early start working on her CD cover & insert artwork. Little did we know the tragedy we would awaken to the next morning on the news. Although we didn't get much done to the art that day, we were so grateful to have one another, safe, sound and alive! It was an emotional several days that followed, and completely influenced the artwork. The lyrics in the songs from her CD on which we worked were inspiration to us all, and helped us through such a difficult time. God bless you Vaughan, and the beautiful soul behind the voice and the lyrics!
